We recently lost our good friend Mike Baker. He was just a really. good. guy. and he is going to be so missed. From his love of music and ROCKY HORROR , to his random questions "Quick what's your favorite...." and karaoke- he was a true legend in our little village. RIP Mike and thanks for all your help! Please join us for our annual benefit party being held on SATURDAY JANUARY 12, 2019 at Blue Plate Restaurant located at 1 Kinderhook St in Chatham NY. Doors open at 5 pm and music goes til about 11 pm. Cost is $25/person and includes all your food and live music all night. There's a cash bar and silent auction too! Winter 2018
We hope everyone is staying warm on these cold COLD days recently. All the animals are snug as bugs in a rug so no worries there. The pigs are sleeping. A LOT. The goaties don't seem to mind the cold weather as much and still commiserate with each other across the fence. We are all looking forward to Spring with warmer temps, grass and dips in the pools!

HAPPY SPRING!
The Haven has been very busy! We have new residents we are SO VERY excited about! Please welcome Podge the pig and Samson the goatie. Their stories and pictures will be up very soon!
We are also getting ready for Summer which will be upon us in an instant , just wait and see! We have shade houses for the piggies going up. Amos the rooster and the ladies will be moving to new bigger digs next week! Wilbur is going to a larger yard. It's all very exciting!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We've been busy! In the past 2 months we have become home for 8 new animals! Our new residents are Wilbur; a Yorkshire pig, Gunther; a potbelly pig and Amos; a rooster plus 5 lovely hens named Taloula, Cecily, Anjelica, Fiona and the little Petit. Please help us WELCOME them to the Haven. Here they join Nancy, Oscar, Nico and Flo!
On January 7th we held our annual benefit party at the Blue Plate restaurant in Chatham. We had a great turn out! The music kicked it once again and for that we need to thank Abby Lappen who played with Pete Tenerowicz and Aaron Martin, McJones, The Reverberators and Side Show Willie. We love all you guys! We had an amazing silent auction thanks to very generous people! Those include Celeste Plowden, Destino/ODB Deli, Classic Country, Chatham Bookstore, Drink, Bob Balcom, Randy Ezinga, Chatham Wine and Liquor, Video Visions, Magdalena's, Barb Chesley, Tradewinds, R.H.
